Theo Bộ Giáo dục và đào tạo, kỳ thi THPT Quốc gia 2020 tiếp tục giữ ổn định như năm 2019. Do vậy, đối với môn Tiếng Anh, hình thức làm bài cho các thí sinh vẫn là tô đáp án trong phiếu trả lời trắc nghiệm. Thời gian làm bài là 60 phút với 50 câu hỏi ở các dạng bài khác nhau, mức độ từ dễ đến khó. Trong đề thi, các phần kiến thức sẽ được kiểm tra bao gồm ngữ âm, ngữ pháp – từ vựng, từ – ngữ thể hiện chức năng giao tiếp, kỹ năng đọc và kỹ năng viết. Để đạt được điểm tốt yêu cầu thí sinh cần hiểu rõ và có khả năng vận dụng được những gì đã học.

Điều quan trọng nhất các em cần lưu ý đối với phần này chính là nắm thật chắc các quy tắc phát âm cũng như cách nhấn trọng âm của từ. Thông thường 4 câu hỏi dành cho dạng này sẽ rất đơn giản, từ vựng nằm đa số nằm trong sách giáo khoa. Tuy nhiên, chúng ta cũng không nên chủ quan mà vẫn phải xem lại thật kỹ để tránh bị lừa hay mắc phải sai sót không đáng có.

Chiếm tổng số 5/50 câu tức là 10% lượng câu hỏi cả bài, phần này bao gồm 2 dạng chính là nối 2 câu thành 1 và chọn câu gần nghĩa với câu cho sẵn. Vì vậy, nó đòi hỏi các em phải nắm chắc kiến thức ngữ pháp về các cách diễn đạt câu khác nhau hay liên từ nào cần sử dụng. Hãy cẩn thận đọc kỹ các đáp án rồi quyết định lựa chọn vì độ nhiễu của chúng là rất cao đấy!
